This is a Turners cube. Besides being a neat looking item it is often used to test the capabilities of a machine and/or

a machinist. It is normally done on a lathe but also can be made on a CNC mill if it is operating properly.

I made a series of these to test the capabilities of my Shizouka CNC mill after I got it up and running.
